I took Brook and the kids to Centenial Olympic Park this past Tuesday to play. We had plans to go to the Childrens Museum but the line was wrapped around the building all day and were told that the wait was a minimum of an hour! So instead of going there we picnicked in the park and then splashed in the fountains for awhile. The park was so busy for a weekday. The kids had a good time though. We also walked through the World of Coke and CNN to do some shopping.
Brook and I took the kids to Berry Patch Farms today to pick our own blueberries. The kids had a good time picking and eating them. Jayden keeps talking about all the different things that we can make with them now!
We spent a day in downtown Philadelphia with the kids and Brook. The kids really enjoyed the Academy of Natural Science the most. They had a great dinosaur exhibit. We also visited the Franklin Institute and had fun in the train wing, as well as the aviation wing and the their visiting exhibit about the heart. We enjoyed lunch in the reading terminal and got to see the liberty bell and walk around the old buildings.
