Safety Village with friends July 18, 2014

We love visiting Safety Village every chance we get! They do a great job when they offer open house and for us it is the only chance that we can attend since we homeschool.  At the open house sessions they have a variety of community members and businesses to share information. A hospital, fire station, police department, power company and water company to name a few. 

My kids love squashing germs! 

 On the left I told them I was sending them to public school, on the right was after I told them I was just kidding. 

A week of dance camp - Jul 2014

This was the first year that Juli was able to attend all 5 days of dance camp without getting sick!!!!! Next year she wants to do science camp in addition to dance camp. Let's hope I can find a program that will be good for her. 

Summer fun the first week of July 2014

We always have fun at the Fernbank History Museum. The kids love when they offer hands on activities and no visit is complete without a stop in Nature Quest. July 1, 2014

 

Happy 4th of July! We hung out in a parking lot near the house and saw the fireworks in Woodstock. 

Our first family trip to 6 flags!

The kids wanted to stay in Hurricane Harbor all day! 

This raft was crazy big to carry up 3 flights of stairs! 

I was glad to see that life vests were complimentary to use! We even found one that fit Juli!

Summer Fun - June 2014

Micahel's Craft Store had a dinosaur craft event and the kids had fun.

We stumbled across some Star Wars characters at the Disney Store and had fun playing around with them.

We met up with one of Julianna's friends at the Children's Museum. Jayden has grown out of this museum so we don't get to visit often. Juli loves to play pretend still.
