Last week was a busy week! Jayden attended vacation bible school at a local church and had a great time. They had jump houses a few days as well as a petting zoo one day and trolley rides to get from the parking lot to the buildings. Julianna liked having alone time without Jayden but questioned where he was after we dropped him off everyday. She also loved checking out the big fish tank that they had in the preschool building every day. Here they are after VBS at the playground.

We went to the zoo this past Monday with some friends. Jayden got a seed stick to feed the parakeets in the new exhibit. Julianna fell in love with the Panda Bears. Their home is designed so it's easy to see them at all times. The mother Panda sat in front of the glass eating bamboo and the panda is so large it was easy for Julianna to see that she didn't want to leave! The last two pictures are with some of the friends that we met up at the zoo, Alannah and Aiden. The kids all rode on the train together and we caught Jayden and Alannah holding hands! Alannah is about 18 months older than Jayden and is the girl that all the boys are in love with!

Another trip to the history museum

We went to the museum again this past weekend when they were celebrating some new dinosaurs. Jayden and his friend Luke got to make puppet dinosaurs. Julianna had a blast playing in the science room at the light wall. She was fascinated by the different colored shadows that she was making.

Archeology day at the Fernbank History Museum

On the 9th of May Jayden and I went to the history museum together for Archeology day. They had a number of activities for the kids to participate in and he had a great time. Here he is digging in stone and then using the pieces of pottery that he found and trying to piece it together.

The local park was recently running a program called art in the park/artscape and Jayden was lucky enough to get in for one session. He had a great time

Bruce Gray's icky bug doodles, celebrating environmental art is in the center. I stood far from him when he made this painting! He got to flick the paint onto the paper!

Touch a Truck 4/25/09

We took the kids to touch a truck. Jayden had a good time exploring all of the different trucks and even got to sit in a real race car! Julianna was with us but it was a very hot day and the sun was to much for her so she sat in the stroller most of the day.
