I found this great program that fills a large tub up every week with produce for only $15. Then I found out they have a will work for food program! So every Thursday we now hang out with other kids for 2 hours while their parents help sort baskets. When it's all done I walk out with my basket for free! Free food to a work at home mom on a budget is a beautiful thing, and I worked for it!
So this week my basket included: cabbage, lettuce, red potatoes, tomatoes, green onions, grapes, apples, bananas, blueberries, carrots, cucumbers and broccoli. Now to go plan some meals for the week so we don't waste any of the produce!
