Pure Shenanigans in March!

I put a shoe on the wall, flipped furniture upside down and some other things to create the book Wacky Wednesday to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. The dog was very nervous about that shoe on the wall. We spent most of the day reading and doing Dr. Seuss crafts.

We bought a King Cake the celebrate Mardis Gras this year. The kids even gave the dog beads to celebrate.

Playing with friends at Catch Air.

3/9/14 A large print credit card offer came in the mail and I made a comment about it being for the blind. Juli said it was for her and filled it out! She really thought that she could get her own card!

Another fun day with a homeschool group! 3/14/14

One of our homeschool groups held a Science day on Sight. The kids had fun learning all about light and how it affects our vision. 3/17/14

Juli loves aqua therapy. Sometimes Jayden and I will cross the bridge and hang out at the library while we wait. 3/25/14

We do school work, sometimes! I feel like we are always on the go, but we do get book work done.

While the kids were waiting for their well check-up they took my phone and took tons of selfies! Silly kids. 3/26/14

CDC Museum, Fernbank History Museum and the Fernbank Science Center 3/27/14

We hit 3 museums in one day! The kids learned so much at every stop!
The day started at the CDC Museum

Jayden had tons of fun posing in front of this wall of germs!

The wall of bacteria was neat to see. Disgusting, but interesting!

After grabbing an early dinner we visited the Fernbank History Museum for the kids to release some energy in Nature Quest.

Our last stop was the Fernbank Science Center for the start of Science Week. They have a wall of lizards, snakes and frogs. The glass wall separating us from 1,000's of bees is neat to watch. They even had different types of honey for us to try.

The kids had tons of fun with the flight simulator! Check out Jayden's face as we watched Juli crash her plane repeatedly!

There were multiple rooms opened with different things to do. Watching sea monkeys under a microscope was very cool, as you can tell by Jayden's face.

This science demonstration was so cool, we had to go back and watch it again! Floating cups using magnetism, dry ice and a few other tools.
